Genopole rassemble entreprises innovantes en sciences de la vie, recherche académique et formations supérieures autour de l’Université d’Évry, en lien également avec les grandes écoles Télécom SudParis, l’Institut Mines-Télécom Business School et l’ENSIIE. Genopole s’emploie également à tisser des liens avec le Centre hospitalier sud francilien (CHSF), entre les médecins et les chercheurs du site. Le Groupement d’intérêt public Genopole est principa- lement soutenu par l’État, la Région Île-de-France, le Département de l’Essonne, l’agglomération Grand Paris Sud, la Ville d’Évry-Courcouronnes et l’AFM-Téléthon. FRANCE’S LEADING BIOCLUSTER – INNOVATION FOR LIFE Genopole is France’s leading biocluster. It is dedicated to research and business creation in genomics and biotech- nologies as applied to healthcare and the environment. Genopole unites innovative businesses and academic research, and furthermore enables advanced training programs in partnership with the University of Évry and the Grandes Écoles Télécom SudParis, Institut Mines-Télécom Business School and ENSIIE. Genopole also enables partnerships between the researchers at the biocluster and the physicians at the South Île-de-France medical center (CHSF). Genopole is a Groupement d’intérêt public (GIP, a form of public-private partnership for missions of public interest) and funded primarily by the French State, the Île-de-France Regional Council, the Essonne Departemental Council, the Grand Paris Sud Urban Area, the city of Évry-Courcouronnes and the AFM-Telethon.
