ACCOMPANY YOUNG RESEARCHERS ACCOMPAGNER LES JEUNES CHERCHEURS GENOPOLE SOUTIENT LA RECHERCHE ET MÈNE UNE POLITIQUE DE RENFORCEMENT DES COMPÉTENCES EN LANÇANT CHAQUE ANNÉE DEUX APPELS À CANDIDATURES. CES DEUX PROGRAMMES CONTRIBUENT À L’ATTRACTIVITÉ DU TERRITOIRE ET L’EXPANSION DES LABORATOIRES ET ENTREPRISES DE GENOPOLE. ALLOCATIONS POST-DOCTORALES : FAVORISER LE RETOUR EN FRANCE DES JEUNES CHERCHEURS Les allocations post-doctorales s’adressent aux jeunes chercheurs formés sur le territoire national qui souhaitent revenir en France à l’issue d’un stage post-doctoral à l’étranger. Sélectionnés sur des critères d’excellence, ils bénéficient d’une allocation de 130 k€ qui finance pendant deux ans leur salaire de chercheur au sein d’un laboratoire ou d’une entre- prise du site de Genopole. En 2019, 8 nouvelles allocations ont été attribuées, 5 en laboratoire académique (Genoscope, Integrare, I-Stem, Lambe, SABNP) et 3 en entreprise (Altar, Evaldepol, Synsight). Afin d’accroître le nombre d’allocations et d’étendre le dispositif à ses partenaires évryens de la recherche, Genopole a coordonné en 2019 le dépôt d’un projet COFUND du programme européen Marie- Sklodowska-Curie. Cette action vise à soutenir la formation des chercheurs, avec un accent sur l’innovation et l’intersectorialité. POSTDOCTORAL ALLOCATIONS: FAVOR THE RETURN OF YOUNG RESEARCHERS The postdoctoral allocations are intended for French- trained researchers who wish to return to France after postdoctoral training abroad. Criteria of excellence drive candidate selection, and those chosen benefit from a €130,000 allocation financing their salary as a researcher for two years within a biocluster laboratory or company. In 2019, eight new allocations were attributed: five in academic laboratories (Genoscope, Integrare, I-Stem, Lambe, SABNP) and three in businesses (Altar, Evaldepol, Synsight). Also in 2019, to increase the number of allocations and extend the program to the biocluster’s research partners in Évry, Genopole coordinated the submission of a COFUND project within the European Marie-Sklodowska-Curie program. This action seeks to support researcher training with an emphasis on innovation and intersectorality. Ainsi, l’allocation post-doctorale a permis à Thomas Thibault, allocataire 2017, de développer au sein de la société Enalees des tests vétérinaires de diagnostic moléculaire rapides et utilisables sur le terrain pour le cheval, le chien et le chat. Il est aujourd’hui chercheur dans l’équipe R&D d’Enalees. All of the allocation recipients have found permanent posts in academic laboratories, businesses or universities. For example, Thomas Thibault developed veterinary rapid molecular diagnostics for in-the-field use with horses, dogs and cats while working for the company Enalees as a 2017 allocation recipient. Deux tiers sont accueillis dans un laboratoire académique et un tiers mènent leurs recherches dans une entreprise du biocluster.
