UN BIOCLUSTER EN EXPANSION L’AVENIR C’EST DÉJÀ AUJOURD’HUI ! AN EXPANDING BIOCLUSTER 2019 a été l’achèvement du 2e bâtiment du futur Pôle de vie, un ensemble immobilier de 21 000 m2 positionné au cœur du biocluster de façon visible sur le campus 1. Ce bâtiment, aux couleurs de Genopole, abritera, entre autres, le futur siège du GIP Genopole. Assimilable à un nouveau quartier, avec des commerces, une résidence étudiants/jeunes chercheurs, une crèche, un espace dédié à l’épanouisse- ment personnel (sport, culture, débats...), un restaurant inter-entreprises, le pôle de vie répond à un besoin capital pour les génopolitains : offrir des lieux de rencontres en dehors du cadre professionnel. Cette dimension humaine, de plus en plus prisée par les salariés, apporte un bien-être au travail, alimente le sentiment d’appartenance au biocluster et constitue ainsi un élément fort d’attractivité pour Genopole. C’est au sein de ce nouveau complexe immobilier que le GIP Genopole intégrera ses nouveaux locaux en 2021. 43 THE FUTURE IS TODAY! Year 2019, witnessed the completion of the second building of the new Life Center, a highly-visible, 21,000 m2 real estate project on Campus 1 at the heart of the biocluster. That building, sporting Genopole’s colors, will soon be home to the GIP Genopole headquarters, among others. Like a new “Main Street” for the biocluster, with stores, student/researcher housing, a nursery, a dedicated cultural and sports center, and an inter-business restaurant among other things, the new Life Center fulfills a vital need for Genopole’s workforce: having a place where they can meet and network in a relaxed, extra-professional atmosphere. That human aspect, increasingly adopted by the employees, brings well-being to the workplace and fuels a sense of belonging at the biocluster, both contributing to the attractiveness of Genopole. GIP Genopole is scheduled to take possession of its new premises within this new complex in the first semester of 2021.
