«Pour moi, le Shaker à Genopole, c’est trois atouts majeurs. Premièrement, c’est être installé dans un écosystème reconnu dans le domaine des biotechs. Deuxième atout, avoir un laboratoire tout équipé à notre disposition pour valider notre preuve de concept et enfin être accompagné main dans la main sur la sensibilisation à l’entrepreneuriat et au développement de notre business. Je suis contente d’être au Shaker pour réaliser mon rêve d’entreprendre. »

Pour augmenter le flux de sociétés innovantes accueillies sur site, Genopole a conçu deux nouveaux dispositifs d’accompagnement. 2018 a été l’année du déploiement du Shaker et du Booster. En janvier, a été inauguré le Lab Biotech du Shaker (photo), aménagé dans la pépinière Genopole gérée par la CCI Essonne. Les étudiants, doctorants / post-doctorants, demandeurs d’emplois... porteurs des projets biotechs innovants sélectionnés, partagent ce laboratoire équipé (consommables et réactifs offerts) pour approfondir leurs recherches et réaliser leur preuve de concept. Ce programme d’une durée de six mois (renouvelable une fois) inclut une sensibilisation à l’entrepreneuriat.
Un comité d’experts indépendants sélectionne chaque année deux promotions au sein du Shaker et du Booster, deuxième dispositif destiné aux jeunes pousses innovantes en biotechnologie (santé, environnement, agritech, foodtech, industrie...) pour accélérer leur croissance et optimiser leur levée de fonds.
En décembre 2018, Genopole a invité un public d’investisseurs lors d’un nouveau rendez-vous, Invest4Biotech, pour leur faire découvrir les innovations des sociétés du Booster.
To increase the flow of innovative companies joining the biocluster, Genopole conceived and developed two accompaniment programs, the Shaker and the Booster, both deployed in 2018. The Biotech Lab of the Shaker program (picture)
was inaugurated in January in the Genopole incubator managed by the Essonne CCI. The holders of selected
innovative biotech projects (university or PhD students, postdocs, job- seekers, etc.) share the equipped lab (consumables and reagents are supplied) to deepen their research and confirm their proofs of concept. The six-month program (renewable once) also includes an introduction to entrepreneurship. Every year, a committee of independent experts selects two classes for not only the Shaker but also the Booster, the second accompaniment program whose purpose is to help innovative biotech start-ups (in health, the environment, agritech, foodtech, industry, etc.) accelerate their growth and optimize fund-raising campaigns.
In December of 2018, Genopole invited investors to a new event, Invest4Biotech, so that they could discover the innovations being forwarded by the Booster start-ups.
