EN FAVEUR DE LA THÉRAPIE GÉNIQUE YPOSKESI AND AXOVANT: A TEAM FOR GENE THERAPIES
Créé par l’AFM-Téléthon et Bpifrance, Yposkesi est une spin-off de Généthon, leader en Europe dans la production de vecteurs viraux pour les médicaments de thérapie génique. Un accord de partenariat a été conclu en novembre avec la société Axovant Sciences, qui développe des thérapies géniques innovantes visant des pathologies neurologiques et neuromusculaires. Le partenariat donnera à Axovant un espace dédié dans les suites de production d’Yposkesi pour ses programmes de thérapie génique utilisant des virus adéno-associés.
Yposkesi was created by AFM-Telethon and Bpifrance as a spin-off of Genethon, Europe's leading producer of viral vectors for gene therapies. In November, Yposkesi signed a partnership with Axovant Sciences, a company developing innovative gene therapies for neurological and neuromuscular diseases. The partnership gives Axovant a dedicated space in the Yposkesi production suites for its gene therapy programs employing adeno-associated viruses.

INTEGRAGEN CHOSEN AS OPERATOR FOR THE PARIS REGION'S SEQUENCING PLATFORM
Spécialisée dans le décryptage du génome humain, IntegraGen est choisie par l’AP-HP, l'Institut Gustave-Roussy et l’Institut Curie, pour exploiter la plate-forme de séquençage à haut débit SeqOIA. SeqOIA est la plate-forme génomique de Paris Région sélectionnée pour l’évaluation de projets pilotes de plates-formes de séquençage très haut débit, dans le Plan France Médecine Génomique 2025. Installée dans l’ancien hôpital Broussais à Paris, SeqOIA disposera d’analyses de séquençage d’ADN et d’ARN pour les patients atteints de cancers et de maladies rares. IntegraGen annonce en novembre sa collaboration avec Google Cloud pour la mise en ligne de SiriusTM et MercuryTM, ses logiciels d’interprétation des données génomiques issues du séquençage.
A specialist in deciphering the human genome, IntegraGen has been chosen by the greater Paris public hospital system (AP-HP), the Gustave-Roussy Institute and the Curie Institute to operate the Paris Region's high throughput sequencing platform SeqOIA. SeqOIA was chosen for the evaluation of high throughput sequencing pilot projects within the Genomic Medicine France 2025 project. Located within the former Broussais Hospital in Paris, SeqOIA will carry out DNA and RNA sequencing analyses for patients with cancers or rare diseases. In November, IntegraGen also announced its partnership with Google Cloud for the web deployment of SiriusTM and MercuryTM, its programs for the interpretation of genomics sequencing data.
Implantée au sein du biocluster Genopole, Texcell est un établissement pharmaceutique spécialisé dans l’analyse de sécurité virale. La notoriété de son offre de services se développe à l’international. En décembre, Texcell conclut un accord avec Changshan Pharm. L’entreprise biopharmaceutique chinoise fera appel aux compétences de Texcell pour l’enregistrement de ses dossiers d’études de clairance prions en Europe, aux États-Unis et en Chine. Texcell s’appuie sur son partenariat commercial avec ATRI (Agricultural Technology Research Institute) basé à Taiwan pour consolider cette nouvelle alliance. En février, Texcell étend son implantation en Asie avec l’ouverture d’une filiale au Japon. Texcell, avec Texcell North America (Maryland) et ATRI, réalisent un chiffre d’affaires de plus de 12 M€ en 2018.
Located within the Genopole biocluster, Texcell is a pharmaceutical establishment specialized in viral safety analyses, and its services are gaining international renown. In December, Texcell signed an agreement with the Chinese biopharmaceutical company Changshan Pharm. This latter will call upon the competencies of Texcell for the submission of its prion clearance study files in Europe, the United States and China. Texcell will build upon its current commercial partnership with the Agricultural Technology Research Institute (ATRI) in Taiwan to consolidate the new alliance with Changshan. Also, in February, Texcell extended its presence in Asia with the launch of an affiliate in Japan.
With Texcell North America (Maryland) and ATRI, Texcell achieved sales of €12 million in 2018.
