JUIN JUNE JUIN JUNE UNE APPLICATION MOBILE POUR L’ANTIBIO-RÉSISTANCE Le laboratoire LaMME (Laboratoire de Mathématiques et Modélisation d’Évry), en colla- boration avec l’Unité de Génomique métabolique (Genoscope) et la Fondation Médecins Sans Frontières, conçoit une application qui diagnostique la résistance aux antibiotiques à l’aide d’un simple smartphone. L’outil interprète les photos d’antibio- grammes par l’analyse d’images et une approche d’intelligence artificielle. Récompensée par le Google « AI Impact Challenge », l’initiative bénéficie d’une bourse pour rendre l’outil accessible en ligne pour les professionnels de santé et le développer à l’échelle mondiale. L’application permet au per- sonnel de Médecins Sans Frontières de choisir le traitement le mieux adapté pour chaque patient, sans recourir à un expert en microbiologie. A MOBILE APPLICATION FOR ANTIBIOTIC RESISTANCE LaMME (Évry mathematics and modeling laboratory), in partnership with Genoscope’s Genomics Metabolics unit and Médecins Sans Frontières, is developing an application to detect antibiotic resistance using a smartphone. The application interprets antibiograms using image analysis techniques and artificial intelli- gence. Recognized by Google’s AI Impact Challenge, the project has received funding to enable its online accessibility for health professionals and its develop- ment at the global level. With the application, Médecins Sans Frontières physicians can choose the treatments best suited to their patients when microbiology labs are not available. The 2019 edition saw a major and collective prospection mission at the French pavilion, in the company of Medicen, Choose Paris Region, IGR, Imagine, the AP-HP, and such Genopole companies as AgenT, Seekyo, Texcell, Traaser and Yposkesi. The event was an outstanding opportunity to spotlight the Île-de-France region and the Genopole ecosystem. No less than 70 meetings with investors and global groups were held, resulting in more than 50 qualified follow-throughs. 10
